Source: Grain deal talks continue, decision not ruled out on Wed
MOSCOW, May 17 (PRIME) -- The grain deal negotiations continue online, and the decision may be announced on Wednesday, a source with knowledge of the process told PRIME.
"They (the negotiations) are underway. Nothing is ruled out, (the decision) may be announced," the source said answering a question on whether the decision could be announced later in the day.
Russia earlier demanded access of its food and fertilizers to the global market, reconnection of Russian Agricultural Bank to SWIFT, resumption of supplies of agricultural machines, components and services, and operation of the Tolyatti–Odessa ammonia pipeline. The measures were included into the package of the grain deal, but none of them have been implemented. The deal is to expire on Thursday if not rolled over.
